Photographic CDs
Whilst getting involved with your research, exploring the various corners of Glorious Gloucestershire and the surrounding countryside, we found so many beautiful and historical places that we felt we had to attempt to capture them. That is what we have done, and we've saved the photographs to a set of CDs, so they can be easily viewed and preserved with the rest of your genealogical information.
Our aim was to provide you with a glimpse of the parishes in which your ancestors lived and worked. We have taken photographs of the church and a range of old buildings and views in each of the ancient parishes of glorious Gloucestershire. Although it has not always been possible, we endeavoured to keep modern intrusions to a minimum. This meant that, in some cases, we could not take as many pictures as we would have wished. Also, some of the original parishes, such as Roel, are virtually extinct and few buildings, if any, remain there.
